The Chicago was on October 2, 2016 as the last part of the work that became gestating in The Revire (practice organized by the teacher and dancer Rosario Gaby Cuesta, and Ezequiel Sabella, who worked from 2013 to 2015).

From the beginning, the goal is to begin to recover the tradition of the old milongas, return to the essence of the neighborhood, walk the old tracks where our parents danced, our grandparents, where they played the great typical orchestras. We seek to bring the milonga back to the clubs where these tango images are captured: the flags, the colored lamps, the kids running down the hall, the smell of homemade buffet food, the young people with the big people sharing tables and track, and above all, of course, the best musical selection of the 40's.

We look for La Chicago to be much more than just to dance Tango. We believe that the Milongas are spaces of inclusion, social articulators where, although dance predominates, everything is framed in a world of own Codes, which aim to care, take care of the other, respect and be respected.

Bringing the people of La Chicago to the Tango culture is our great goal. Therefore, we work hard to include singers, orchestras, dancers, teachers, plastic artists, etc .; both from Rosario and other places. In the same way we encourage the crossing with the milongueros of other cities, provinces, and countries, exchanges that nourish, that make them grow, that motivate a "meeting".

Through the Tango, we begin to recover lost spaces and, in a way, we begin to reconstruct our cultural identity, to achieve true social integration and, most importantly, we are going to reach all these places through so many Hugs !! !
